My long time friends from Portland visited Sayulita back in April. I got to meet their daughter Mimi for the first time. There is not one word to describe Mimi, there are several and I don’t even think that works, you have to meet her to truly get the full “Mimi Effect”. Mimi has this energy that radiates through her little being, and this energy that everyone gravitates toward, including my dogs, especially my dogs. They were staying at the Petit Hotel Hafa in Sayulita a perfect place for a portrait session. Petit Hotel Hafa is a popular spot for photos, because of all of the great colors and the amazing vibe and decor. I knew it was the ideal spot for Mimi and her family. What I strive for in my work, is to have the setting compliment the subject. I don’t have poses that I do over and over, no formula, just natural, life…unfolding, that’s what I like! Thanks Miss Mimi and her rockin, amazing, smart, rad parents, oh, and by the way, they require many words to describe them as well. I cannot wait to take more in Portland next month. I HEART You Rich Family!
I normally wouldn’t agree to photograph a 4 month old baby, but I knew Marcus would do just fine. And he did more then fine, he lasted for at least an hour with no tears, just a lot of smiles. Marcus is so stinking cute, I love this baby! This Sayulita family portrait session was flawless, despite the heat…wow it was hot that day. Thank you for being so awesome!!! I cannot wait to see you in the future!
I adore these rascals! Eli is so sweet and calm, with his amazing long lashes and piercing eyes. Miss Fiona has curls for days and the cutest little laugh, I just want to squeeze her. We had a great family session in Sayulita before the Semana Santa madness began…who would guess that the very next day tents would be overtaking the beach?
Jesse is a spunky little rascal, goofy smiles abound. There were a few yawns too and his moms had to tickle him a bit to keep him on his toes. In the end Jesse earned a donut, I think it was chocolate covered. Yay Jesse!!!
