This is one of my favorite families of all time! I was in love when we first met. This trip was extra special I got to meet Carly’s mom and dad…can I say LOVE again…always a treat to have them in Sayulita and I cannot wait to see them in Chicago this fall. Josephine and Scarlett are such little cutie pies just like their mama. Thank you for being so rad. I love you so much ! ! !
Most infrequent bloggers mention how long it’s been since they have blogged, because they are too busy. Well, I tend to not follow the crowd, but this time, I am (sigh). I have simply had no time to blog. I just returned from a relaxing, rejuvenated holiday and am ready to blog away! My website hasn’t even been updated since September. To see my latest work, you can follow me on Instagram. Here I go on my attempt to share some of my favorite shoots from the past few months. This shoot with this awesome family was one of my faves of all time. Treva had me cracking up as she “worked it” for the camera. They are one good looking family and the beauty of the sunset on Patzcuaro Beach that day made for the perfect combo. Love you guys!!!
The morning of Hurricane Patricia I photographed Jane and her family for the first time. It was a very uncertain morning, wondering if it was going to strike my home in Sayulita. Jane had me smiling and tearing from laughter…what a special little girl she is! She is so sprite and funny for her 4 years, wow. I couldn’t believe how much energy she had. She would look at herself in the mirror and it just cracked me up. Jane enjoyed being photographed and I enjoyed every minute of her cuteness. The love that their family shares is so genuine and true. I am so blessed to have met them and I left their house knowing that everything was going to be okay in Sayulita. And it was…
This little family couldn’t be more perfect for my last blog post of the year. I love this family to pieces! Story and Sibley are the best! This was my first time photographing them in their AMAZING new house. I am so lucky to travel to my favorite cities to take pictures. Waking up early on the weekend to do what makes my heart full is so rewarding. Remember it is never too late to live the life you dream. Happy New Year everyone!!!
